A powerhouse in the automotive distribution sector, Southeast Toyota Distributors, the world’s largest independent distributor of Toyotas, is steering ahead with the construction of an expansive 250,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art auto processing facility at JAXPORT’s Blount Island Marine Terminal. Slated for completion in 2025, this substantial $120 million public-private partnership aims to modernize the company’s operations with enhanced on-site rail connections and designated truck loading zones. On Friday, our Richmond branch hosted our largest community charity event to date. The memorable corn hole tournament, supported by over 25 sponsors and attended by more than 100 people, was a great success! Jim McCulley Jr., PMP, a current Project Manager at Miller and a retired veteran, spearheaded the tournament efforts. Through raffles, donations, and sponsorships, all proceeds were donated to Leashes of Valor an organization dedicated to "enriching and improving the lives of both veterans and dogs: one leash saves two lives." We're thrilled to share that we snagged the second-place spot for Innovation in Industry at this year's Unconventional Awards by T-Mobile for Business! These awards recognize pioneers who challenge the status quo in their respective industries. T-mobile for Business states that "Miller Electric Company is modernizing downtown Jacksonville’s transportation by integrating autonomous vehicles supported by a T-Mobile private 5G network, ensuring safe operation, video monitoring, passenger communication, and system data transmission." We're back with another #ProjectSpotlight and this week we're taking you to #Savannah Georgia! In 2015, we forged a partnership with HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) to become a preferred partner for their critical healthcare facilities. We are currently one of three electrical contractors participating in the program, overseeing the electrical infrastructure of nearly 300 facilities throughout Florida. We are now extending our collaboration with HCA to the historic city of Savannah, Georgia. At Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is undergoing a renovation project. This initiative includes a comprehensive overhaul of both the West and East NICU sections, with the goal of creating a state-of-the-art environment for the hospital's most vulnerable infants. Another successful #FallFest wrapped up! This past Friday, we hosted our annual fall festival at our Jacksonville, FL headquarters. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our team members to unwind and enjoy time with their families and coworkers. From food trucks and dessert stations to carnival games and more, there was endless fun for everyone! 🍂🎉

This incredible organization provides highly trained service dogs to post-9/11 veterans, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Strolling into this Wednesday with another #ProjectHighlight - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹, located in the same city as our headquarters, Jacksonville, FL! The scope of our work on this project included installing lighting and new services for the lights, with six different types of fixtures (four mounted on poles). All fixtures emit a consistent white light, enhancing visibility and safety along the path. As a pivotal piece of urban infrastructure, the Emerald Trail will connect Jacksonville in previously unimaginable ways, reflecting a bold step toward a healthier, more vibrant community.
