It’s not unusual for my team to get requests for very hard-to-find talent. We are accustomed to such requests, but some are particularly challenging and rare as unicorns in our industry.

Recently, we received our Great Place to Work certification – a significant milestone. A completely anonymous survey revealed 100% of employees say Miller & Associates is a great place to work!!
Then it hit me, we nurture great talent to find great talent. We’re not only skilled at finding talent but also retaining it. Our leadership team Cassidy Engel along with highly skilled consultants stay with us, sometimes over a decade or more. Some two years or five years others for eleven years, but the sentiment remains the same – they’ve stayed because they feel valued as people, not just employees.
Last week, I received a thoughtful card in the mail from a consultant that read “It is with so much appreciation that I view your approach to creating a Miller family (once a Miller, always a Miller). In today’s a corporate world it is refreshing to feel loyalty and connection again, even when nothing can ever be totally guaranteed.”
These words are echoed by others stories of support through personal challenges, celebrated victories, investments in personal development and growth.
For me, the Great Place to Work certification is a testimony to what James Miller and I have been working to create over the last fourteen years. It is proof that our commitment to people – their families, their lives, their professional development – has created something truly special.
