Mindful Return’s mission is to create a supportive and diverse community of new parents returning to work after parental leave who want to feel present – both with their babies and in their careers. Since 2015, more than 2,500 parents have taken Mindful Return's signature 4-week online course, and 105+ employers offer the program to retain new parent top talent. Employers who offer Mindful Return see new parent retention rates of 85% (contrasted with the national average of 64%). Ms. Mihalich-Levin's book, Back to Work After Baby: How to Plan and Navigate a Mindful Return from Maternity Leave, was released on April 11, 2017. She also co-hosts the Parents at Work Podcast.
