One challenge high-frequency RF system designers face is stabilizing linearity, dynamic range and RF output power levels over temperature and RF input power. To address these system demands, Mini-Circuits has incorporated temperature-stable and variable gain models into our ZVA-series of microwave/mmWave amplifiers. These features afford designers needed flexibility in fine tuning their cascades on-the-fly, or in implementing AGC and ALC to stabilize system performance. Insights From the World of RF & Microwave: we had an excellent opportunity to interview the CEO of Mini-Circuits, Jin Bains, in the latest Silicon Valley Tech Talks episode.
