While this might mean stepping out of your comfort zone and trying unfamiliar tools, the goal is that, through some trial and error, your church will find a digital solution that transforms the way you do ministry. Team Member Spotlight: Renita Lloyd-Smith | Sales Engineer Q: What do you enjoy about working at Ministry Brands? A: "I particularly enjoy collaborating with the team of talented people here at Ministry Brands. We are creative and find unique ways to solve challenges and exchange ideas. My favorite time of the week is coaching my team of Catholic Account Executives on best practices, software enhancements and processes that augment the great work they do to support our customers which contribute to the success of our company." Q: How have you grown in your time here? A: "Over the past five years, I have experienced tremendous growth both professionally and personally. When I first started, I was customer facing, as a Donor Growth Strategist. Since then, I have elevated into a position that was custom-made for me. My love for data allowed me to work on significant projects that shored up our core systems. My experience in training/development and workshops led to coaching and creating learning tools and processes. I have continuously sought opportunities to expand my skills set in technology and business skills through online courses. As a cradle Catholic, I get to work in an industry that has deepened my understanding of church management and engagement, improved my leadership abilities, and allowed me to serve the people of God in full discipleship." Q: What's your ideal PTO day look like? A: "I usually take a PTO week to go on our annual girl’s cruise since college, but my ideal PTO day is spent with my husband where we go out to brunch followed by antique shopping. He shares some hilarious stories of his childhood when coming across a familiar item. We hold hands, share ice cream, and laugh like we did when we were 17.”
