Meet Rachel Ganani, a speaker at our upcoming State of Brownfields event on November 14! Rachel joined the MPCA as the chief of staff in August 2024 to coordinate the agency’s work with other local and state partners. She previously spent many years in state government, most recently overseeing Minnesota Housing’s federal programs as the agency’s director of federal affairs. Prior to that, she worked as a policy advisor in the Governor’s Office on matters related to housing, environment, climate, the judiciary, human rights, and public safety. Her first role in Minnesota state government was as a committee administrator in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Before entering state service, Rachel was a practicing attorney in New York City with nearly a decade of litigation experience in civil legal services. Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a law degree from Cardozo School of Law. Meet Rachel and learn from her at our State of Brownfields event.
