Ohio employers - The 2024 policy year will be starting on July 1 for private employers and the Ohio BWC (official) will be sending out the June premium installment invoices over the weekend. Payments are due by June 21st! Take a MINUTE to check out some helpful tips: ✔ If you have not set up your OHID and merged it with your BWC E-Account, now is the time to do so. You will not be able to access your policy in order to make payments online or submit your True Up in July. ✔ Make premium payments online to ensure that your payments are posted on time. If you are mailing a check, it takes about 17 days for the payment to post - so if that's your only option, please be sure your check is in the mail next week. ✔ Be sure that you review your Premium Installment Schedule so that you can anticipate and plan for upcoming installments and due dates. ✔ If you'd like to pay the full estimated annual premium in June, the BWC will give you a 2% early pay discount (and you won't have to worry about missing one of the installments throughout the year). ☑ if you need help, our team of workers' comp experts is just a phone call away!
