  • Did you know that we help children who are struggling with sensory issues? There are a whole range of signs that sensory issues may be at play, but here are a few that you may notice in your baby: 🔴 Crying as soon as their diaper is dirty or when new clothes are put on; prefers to be naked 🔴 Reacts to temperature; is always hot or cold 🔴 Does not cuddle and withdraws from being touched by crying, looking away, or pulling their arms or legs away 🔴 Stiffens if touched around their mouth 🔴 Either has no awareness of an object placed on their hands or feet or may respond with panicked, frantic movements 🔴 Pulls away or panics with stiff, textured, or non-smooth toys 🔴 Unable to track objects 🔴 Cries with up and down movement or on car or stroller rides; throws up with movement 🔴 Resists rolling so their head doesn’t have to change positions 🔴 Resists crawling and will immediately try to stand up; prefers standing before their body is ready to stand 🔴 Cries, rejects, or vomits when puréed or new foods are introduced

  • Picky eating, often mystifying and challenging, is approached with patience and precision. We debunk the myth that hunger alone can resolve feeding issues. Our therapists meticulously assess your child’s oral sensitivities, distinguishing between areas of high and low sensitivity. Armed with this knowledge, we craft a personalized plan, normalizing sensitivities and facilitating successful integration of a diverse range of foods, including essential vegetables and proteins. Wondering how to identify if my child is a picky or resistive eater? Check out the checklist on our website under the "Feeding Therapy" tab for more info or give us a call to set up an evaluation: (248) 939-4030.

  • Happy graduation day, little one! Here's his journey... (And thank you for taking the time to write us a Google review!) "My sweet baby graduated today from Michigan Pediatric Therapy. We had an AMAZING experience with Magda & her team. My baby went from extreme body tension, clicking at the breast, milk dripping on the sides, not eating efficiently to a completely different baby. His tension melted away (my entire family saw this immediately in him), he stopped clicking at the breast, milk doesn’t drip out when he nurses, it takes him 3 minutes to nurse haha it’s amazing. I’m so so thankful we brought our baby here, Magda & her team are an ABSOLUTE blessing to my family and I’ve already referred my family to her! Thank you again for changing my baby’s life." -Marius O.
