About us

Miranda Creative, Inc. is a community of art directors, designers, web developers, social media mavens, publicists, and administrators. Since 1988, we have been supporting clients of all sizes and industries from Canada to China and all along the East Coast. Our team uses state-of-the-art technology and provides holistic marketing and communication services that are required for today’s complex media environment. We welcome RFP’s in our core competencies and offer a complimentary, one-hour consultation. Originally called The AD Agency, Miranda Creative, Inc., was established in the summer of 1988. Our early days were humble with an office that was really a third bedroom and a conference table that was a dining room table after 5 PM. With hard work, loyal clients, a dedicated team, and award-winning creativity, Miranda Creative, Inc., has grown to become the largest agency in eastern Connecticut. At our heart, however, we remain that modest "third bedroom company" finding value in all relationships and treating clients, vendors and team members with sincere respect. On Saturday, Miranda Creative had a team of walkers out to support a client event, in-person in Niantic and virtually participating! @We_Are_Connecticut was a sponsor of the AFSP CT Out of the Darkness Walks starting with the Southeastern walk this Saturday September 21st, which is in conjunction with the The Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope & Healing. Together, we’re taking a stand against suicide and raising awareness about mental health. Thank you to those who joined us as we walked in honor of those lost and in support of those who continue to struggle. Every step matters. #WeAreCT #MentalHealthMatters #OutoftheDarkness

These cool, almost-fall mornings have us reflecting on a summery summary... From concepts on a screen to a full out day of celebrating the best that Old Saybrook has to offer, we were proud to team up with Celebrate Old Saybrook this summer for the second year in a row. Our approach was all about amplifying the town’s energy and charm—whether through carefully crafted social media ads, eye-catching graphics, or engaging content that captured the attention of locals and visitors alike. Through targeted social media, a website launch, engaging visuals, and strategic messaging, we helped build anticipation and community buzz leading up to the big day this past June. Watching the buzz grow, both online and offline, was a rewarding experience that showcased the power of thoughtful marketing. We're proud to have played a part in connecting people with the heart of this community and can't wait to do it again next year! #CelebrateLocal #OldSaybrook #CTShoreline #NewEnglandSummer #SupportLocal

Drumroll please... We're incredibly honored to share the launch of one of our latest brands on behalf of the great team at CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING. With housing being an important part of the conversation in every corner of Connecticut, it is important that this vital department have a brand that conveys the housing solutions being developed for every corner of our state. Kudos to the design team on this project, which found a way to convey the many definitions of housing and the growing housing needs on the horizon. Looking forward to the first Connecticut Housing Conference coming up in October. Watch this space for further updates.

CT DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING REFRESHES ITS BRAND (HARTFORD, CT)—Leading up to its 2nd annual Connecticut Housing Conference in October, the Department of Housing (DOH) has launched an updated brand identity designed to better reflect the department’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusive housing opportunities for all Connecticut residents. “We are really happy to have a fresh look and feel, one that emphasizes our vision and more of what we do,” said Connecticut Commissioner of Housing Seila Mosquera-Bruno. “Our mission is to provide affordable housing options for residents of all incomes. We are increasing first-time home ownership, developing new units, rehabilitating and converting existing properties, speeding up our internal processes, refining our homeless support network, working with municipalities on their plans, and doing everything possible to drive our goal of an inclusive, intergenerational and sustainable future for housing in Connecticut.” In addition to a reflection of Connecticut’s iconic shape, the new logo integrates symbolic elements such as multifamily units, community green spaces and individual homes. The color palette features shades of blue and green, carefully chosen to represent the balance between Connecticut’s ionic shoreline and its thriving urban environments. The blue aligns with the long-standing color values associated with the state, while green reflects a commitment to environmentally conscious development. Central to the logo design is a series of varied housing elements, symbolizing the diversity of housing solutions available throughout Connecticut. At the center of the logo is a small, single-residence structure representing the individual homes that form the foundation of our communities. Surrounding are multiple forms of housing, depicted through both vertical and horizontal window shapes, symbolizing the variety of multi-unit options that serve different communities. Miranda Creative, Inc., a Norwich-based brand management agency with more than 35 years of experience creating impactful and meaningful visual identities, collaborated with the internal communications team at DOH for the rebranding effort. In the coming weeks, the new logo and brand identity will be integrated across all DOH materials, communication platforms, and the upcoming Connecticut Housing Conference being held at the Convention Center on Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Hartford. About CT DOH The Connecticut Department of Housing’s mission is to ensure everyone has access to quality housing opportunities and options throughout the State of Connecticut. Yesterday, we were honored to support our clients at DMHAS Center for Prevention Evaluation and Statistics at UConn Health and Connecticut State Department of Children & Families during a very important suicide prevention roundtable in Hartford—just ahead of National Suicide Prevention Month in September. Governor Ned Lamont, state officials, community leaders, and those personally affected by suicide came together to share experiences and passionately call for action to address rising suicide rates and to improve the pathways between those at risk and the state’s robust network of mental health and crisis intervention services. The event also marked the official launch of the @We_Are_Connecticut initiative, a project we’re proud to have played a key role in for our state partners. This joint initiative by DMHAS and DCF aims to break down the barriers and stigmas around seeking help, making it easier for all residents to connect with Connecticut’s extensive network of mental health and crisis intervention resources. Central to this initiative is the new WeAreCT.org website, designed and developed by our team at Miranda Creative. This platform integrates multiple vital resources, including live links to 211, 988, and other crucial services, offering critical information and intuitive search capabilities. Our goal is to empower users to find the exact help they need using common language, ensuring that everyone can easily access the support they deserve. Thank you to our engaged client partners and the entire team involved in this life-saving initiative. We are here for you, We are Connecticut. #MentalHealthMatters #SuicidePrevention #WeAreCT #BeThe1To
