Mirror Lake Recovery is a renowned alcohol and drug treatment center. We have been helping individuals recover from addiction for over 30 years. Our compassionate approach to treatment emphasizes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation of the individual. Our clinical program is based on research/science as we effectively treat addiction. Mirror Lake Recovery Center provides life-changing treatment services to men and women, aged 18 and above, who have been struggling with substance abuse and chemical dependency, and who also may be experiencing a co-occurring mental health disorder. When an individual enters treatment at Mirror Lake, he or she will work in close collaboration with a team of experienced and compassionate mental health professionals, including an addictionologist, master’s level therapists, case managers, registered nurses, clinical technicians, and other providers as needed. Depending upon each client’s unique needs, treatment at Mirror Lake Recovery Center may be provided at the detox, residential, or partial hospitalization (PHP) levels. At all levels, each client works with the members of his or her treatment team to identify the client’s needs, set treatment goals, and develop a comprehensive personalized treatment plan. The client’s treatment objectives will be individualized, realistic, measurable, time-specific, and appropriate to the level of treatment. The treatment plan will identify the services and support that will allow the client to overcome the obstacles that have been preventing him or her from achieving his or her greatest potential. With a variety of treatment modalities and a wide range of therapeutic activities and opportunities, Mirror Lake Recovery Center is uniquely prepared to empower men and women to confidently and successfully walk the path of long-term recovery.

The National Institutes of Health states that depression affects around 6% of seniors over 60 and up to 27% of those over 85. Despite its prevalence, many cases go undetected because symptoms can look like age-related changes, such as fatigue, loss of appetite, and cognitive decline. Recognizing these signs early is crucial for effective support and enhanced well-being.

Mental Health America states that approximately 60 million adults in the U.S. faced mental health concerns in the past year. In observance of Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 6-12), we highlight the critical need for awareness and support in our communities and workplaces. Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day, reminding us that 1 in 8 people around the world face these struggles, as noted by the World Health Organization. Let's join forces to spread compassion, promote understanding, and inspire hope and healing.
