The past two weeks have been great. 🚖 Student focus groups with Anne-Marie Balzano, Ed.D at Wesley Prep -continuing our mission work with Meg Fahrenbrook 🚖 Student focus groups with Anne-Marie Balzano, Ed.D at TMI - continuing our strategic planning with Father Scott Brown 🛫 Outcome and metric validation at The Pegasus School with Regina McDuffie, Ph.D. and her wonderful leadership team 🛫 Presenting with Dr. Marquis Scott, Ed.D, MBA at the TABS (The Association of Boarding Schools) annual conference. In addition, got to see Charley and Lucy from the Episcopal High School present on the strategic planning process as well as visit with so many colleagues, clients, and friends. Every week is a new adventure in #missiondriven #datainformed decision making.

Excited to be back in Florida later this week connecting with friends and colleagues speaking at the Florida Council of Independent Schools Annual Convention on the topic of faculty compensation! We help schools create #MissionDriven faculty/staff compensation systems that are #CommunityCentered and #DataInformed. Cliff Kling, Jason Kern, M.Ed., TLIS, DipWSET, and Ari Betof, EdD, MBA are headed back after a wonderful, whirlwind week attending and presenting at the TABS (The Association of Boarding Schools) Annual Conference in Washington, DC.

Just wrapped up an all day board retreat and meeting in Dallas for the Association of LD Schools. I’m grateful to my friend Joshua J. Clark who asked me to serve on this board to bring a non-LD, now former, head perspective to the group. Also grateful for the tireless work of our talented Executive Director Cheryl Cook! As I get to know LD schools better, I marvel at their unique and noble missions serving students and families in such incredible ways!

Enjoyed presenting at the SAIS - Serving and Accrediting Independent Schools Annual Conference on faculty compensation and head compensation. Congratulations to Dr. Brett Jacobsen on his first conference at the helm. As expected, he gave an informative, challenging, and inspiring address at lunch packed with research and data! Thanks for helping us see around the corners! Always great to connect with so many friends and colleagues!
