About us
The Missouri APEX Accelerator (formerly Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (MO PTAC)) assists businesses — including small, disadvantaged and women-owned firms — in obtaining federal, state and local government contracts. Our procurement specialists have years of experience. They will help you in identifying opportunities and understanding the contracting process so you can take advantage of government sales dollars. PTAC counselors will assist with SAM registration, which is free. Learn how to sell your products or services to the government. Contact our staff at a center near you, or email ummoptacaccount@umsystem.edu. This APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.

Federal Sales Guide/Senior Executive who Builds Industry Intel & Customized Winning Federal Sales Action Plans for Contractors through her ‘Three-Step Program.’ Over 10,000 people and 350 companies trained since 2002.
Hundreds of ‘Newbies’ are entering the market….not as federal contractors, but as self-proclaimed ‘experts’ taking consulting courses from other self-proclaimed ‘experts’ in the federal marketplace telling unknowing newly registered Sam registrants they have ‘the answer’ with little or no personal experience actually selling to the feds themselves. Between the ‘AI’ proposal writing software companies popping up in the industry like hummingbirds to thistles….and the ‘get rich quick’ schemes of people promising individuals they’ll win ‘millions in days’ because the Feds are ‘looking for you’ WOSB, Veteran, Minority, HubZones….. the industry is saturated with ‘newbie experts’ who know nothing about the nuances of federal contracting. Everywhere I look, little consultancies are showing up with their little idea of getting another buck out of you, contractors. Stop the madness. First exhaust all the FREE resources available through your APEX Accelerators and then when you’re ready to hit the ground running, Go to the seasoned experts who have been there, done that, training and supporting companies one-on-one, custom for the last 20-30 years. Sure there are new tools and databases, memberships and marketplaces…..but if you don’t know how to actually leverage Intel available to build a one-on-one RELATIONSHIP with real people - decision makers - behind the scenes inside the agencies, your shiny toys and tools are worthless. Several of us, know the ‘best-of-the-best’ ….. but they don’t come cheap…..and they’re worth it. Don’t sign that check ….. until you do a full background check.
