But remember, what you post matters! Here are three essential tips for building a strong, professional presence on social media: 1. Audit Your Online Presence – Take a look at how you’re showing up online. Are there posts or photos that need to go? 2. Define Your Brand – What do you want to be known for? • Happy Mentor Monday!  Know When to Say 'No': Learning to say "no" in a professional way is essential for setting boundaries while maintaining positive relationships. Women can feel pressured to take on extra responsibilities. But overcommitting can lead to burnout and hinder productivity. Be selective about projects that align with your career goals. Here are some strategies to help say no gracefully: 1. Express Appreciation, Then Decline  2. Offer An Alternative  3. Be Transparent About Priorities.  4. • Happy FriYAY!🎉 Fall is in full swing and it's a wonderful season for team activities! Incorporate some fun into your workplace with Autumn traditions: 1) Host a pumpkin carving contest. Virtual teams can try this too, by submitting a photo of their art! 2) Feeling daring? Take your colleagues to a haunted house! Working through fears and getting a good-natured scare can be a great team building opportunity. 3) Show how much you appreciate your team with some Fall-themed goodies. From pumpkin spice to apple pie, tasty treats are a great way to say thank you! #MIWRadio #MentoringInspiringWomen

  • Do you ever have moments of self-doubt? We've all fallen victim to that little voice that tells negative inner stories. Today's Wisdom Wednesday is a fun physical activity you can try to clear that self-doubt right out! 1) Write your doubts on a piece of paper 2) Crumple the paper, and that self-doubting message into a ball 3) Take aim and toss that ball of negativity right into the trash 4) Celebrate letting go! Just as you wouldn't retrieve that paper ball from the trash, commit to not retrieving those thoughts of self-doubt and discouragement. Remember this analogy anytime you start to feel self-doubt creeping in, and dunk those doubts! #MIWRadio #MentoringInspiringWomen

  • Happy Mentor Monday! Have you experienced a professional setback? We all have! Setbacks don't have to feel like the end of the world - here are some tips for turning setbacks into opportunities. 1) Learn from your mistakes. Success is a process, mistakes are part of learning & growing. Be willing to admit what went wrong and how you can improve 2) Turn your emotion into motivation. Sucesses feel even better when you know how much you've overcome to get there. 3) Reach out to your mentor. Our mentors have probably also experienced setbacks & are great resources for helping find solutions to move forward #MIWRadio #MentoringInspiringWomen
