A global engineering company CEO, Dr. Kit Miyamoto of Miyamoto International, visits Puerto Rico (October 17-20), marking four years of recovery since the devastating 2020 earthquake. Miyamoto’s local office, now one of the largest structural engineering firms on the Island, has been fundamental in Puerto Rico's rebuilding efforts. Led by Dr. José García Villamil, a team of Puerto Rican experts backed by international engineering capacity has assessed over 1,000 damaged structures and is currently spearheading the rehabilitation of critical community buildings, schools and churches across Puerto Rico.
