As the first of its kind, the ProAxis® Spinal Surgery Table is advancing surgical access in the spinal field! Enhanced hinge mechanics enable surgeons to flex and extend the lumbar spine with increased precision. The ProAxis® comes with an IntelliPendant® hand pendant, which allows the surgical team to monitor and control the table’s exact position and functions. It remains one of Mizuho OSI’s most advanced surgical tables in spine care. Which is why we’re always excited to bring it out with us to any #spinecare event. Follow us to learn about where we’ll bring the ProAxis®, and any of our other surgical solutions, next.

Made by us. Warrantied by us. Serviced by us. That’s the Mizuho OSI way. Which is why all our specialty surgery tables are designed, manufactured, and deployed from our California Bay Area location. As the Mizuho OSI headquarters for over 45 years, our San Francisco Bay Area location is home to the Mizuho OSI factory, innovation center, executive offices, and more!

Innovation is a global effort. Which is why Mizuho OSI is always looking to expand our community and connect across borders. In that effort, we’re proud to have hosted two bioskills courses this summer. Each one providing a hands-on learning experience with expert teachers and our lineup of innovative tables. Dr. Charles Lawrie, Dr. GIUSEPPE JUNIOR SCIARRONE, & Dr. Rodolfo Maduri

Patient and surgeon needs are always evolving, which is what pushes us to continue innovation. Such was the case back in 2013 when we introduced the ProAxis® Spinal Surgery Table to the world and advanced patient positioning for intraoperative adjustments of the lumbar spine. That innovation continued when we launched the Trios® Surgical Table System in 2015 and followed it up with the Levó® Head Positioning System in 2017. Enhancing safety, increasing control, and bettering outcomes for surgical spine patients. This is what it means to bring innovation to the table.

The Mizuho OSI name represents a lot. Over 45 years of commitment to improved outcomes for patients undergoing surgery. A passion for empowering surgical teams to operate at their best. An unyielding drive for innovation. If you are a part of the #MizuhoOSIFamily then you know we celebrate this every day. But what we really want to know is how many remember, back in 1978, what the 'OSI' stood for?

#NeverStopLearning We're always excited to let doctors get a hands-on experience with our operating tables to see for themselves how we can improve outcomes for surgical patients. This year, Mizuho OSI is proud to have hosted our first LatAm Enabling Technology in Orthopedics Course in partnership with the Miami Anatomical Research Center (MARC) Institute and Zimmer Biomet A huge thank you to Luis Eduardo Ordoñez Conde, Nessim Dayan, and Salomón Dayán for attending and sharing their passion for learning with us. Special thanks to our onsite faculty, Charles Lawrie, for leading the lab. We can't wait to partner together at our next event. Stay tuned!
