Crypto for $GOOD 💚🙌
🚀❤️ Introducing our “Crypto for Good” campaign, highlighting what makes crypto—and the people who power it—one of the greatest forces for good. This is a major initiative to underline the intersection of cryptocurrency and philanthropy. The campaign aims to reach $200 Million in crypto donations by the end of 2024 by showcasing how cryptocurrency empowers individuals, communities, and nonprofits to make positive change in the world. Beyond its financial utility, cryptocurrency has driven financial inclusion, transparency, and billions in donations since Bitcoin's launch 15 years ago. As the top-performing asset class of the past decade, crypto is fostering a new generation of impact-minded leaders, who are more likely to give generously to charity. Nonprofits are crypto’s greatest champions. Major organizations like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC and Save the Children US have been fundraising crypto while building strong ties with the crypto community, and there are thousands of crypto-friendly charities looking for partners in the web3 space to support their missions. Whether you’re a donor, nonprofit, or crypto company, there are many ways to get involved. From partnering with nonprofits to donating to your favorite causes, your support can drive meaningful change. Help us spread the word and share stories of how crypto is making a positive impact, and together we can ensure crypto continues to be a catalyst for global change. 🔗 Learn more about our “Crypto for Good” campaign and how you can participate: https://hubs.ly/Q02VsTd-0 #CryptoForGood #CryptoPhilanthropy

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. In 2023, it was estimated that only 43% of Americans who needed mental healthcare received it - with stigma, access, and affordability as the top reasons why care wasn’t received. Through education, we can change the narrative on suicide. We can raise awareness about the importance of reducing stigma, and encouraging open conversations to prevent suicides. That awareness also emphasizes the need to prioritize a key protective factor in global policy: affordable access to mental healthcare for all. The International Association for Suicide Prevention provides some actions you can take today: ✔️ Look out for those who are not coping by identifying warning signs, like dramatic mood changes, reckless behaviors, or behaviors out of the norm. ✔️ Know what resources are available. TWLOHA offers a “Get Help” tool, and #988 provides 24/7 voice and text access to crisis counselors. ✔️ Start the conversation. Many people don’t act because they’re afraid they’ll make things worse. You don’t need to have all the answers. Just by asking someone how they are doing, with compassion, empathy, and genuine concern, can provide hope and an opening for someone to seek support. I’m fundraising for TWLOHA this month to increase access to care for those who are struggling. There are many great organizations working to reduce the stigma of suicide and mental health and increase access to care. Please consider supporting one this month. 🖤

Suicide impacts every corner of the globe. Every community is filled with those who know the grief of loss and the pain that suicide brings. Despite this widespread hurt, we often find ourselves keeping these stories, and our thoughts and feelings, inside. Stigma and shame still hold tight even though we know these struggles are not something we face alone. So today—World Suicide Prevention Day—exists for remembrance, for encouragement, and for the sake of honesty within a world that still tries to convince us to keep the pain to ourselves. Thanks to Newport Health, The Dybul Family, and other anonymous donors, this day means even more for those who are seeking to make a difference in suicide prevention. We have a matching grant currently active and all donations to our campaign will be automatically doubled. 🧡 These funds help us show up directly for the people who need support the most. We know that the epidemic of suicide is overwhelming. It’s a heavy thing to carry, and the weight of it can make it hard to know where to start. Whether by fundraising or donating, purchasing one of our Suicide Prevention Packs, or sharing our resources with those around you, you CAN make a difference in suicide prevention. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Get activated and take action in your own way today at twloha.com/stay.
