At our second-quarter board meeting coinciding with our Member Meetup, MoCannTrade nominated and elected new members for our 2024-25 class of Committee and Advisory Board Members, notably with Microbusiness representation on each of our committees and our Board of Directors. Our association is comprised of business professionals from a variety of industries, backgrounds and expertise working together to provide a meaningful impact on Missouri’s marijuana trade. Our Government Affairs Committee works to understand, create, guide and communicate regulatory and policy matters between association members, all four industry facing committees, the board of directors and any relevant state and local government entities. Nearly $11M in tax revenue was distributed to the Missouri Veterans Commission, the Missouri State Public Defender, and drug treatment programs administered by DHSS, Marijuana Moment reports, totaling more than $30M since the passage of adult-use.

As the Voice of Trade for the Missouri Cannabis Industry, we support rescheduling cannabis to a Schedule III controlled substance, to recognize cannabis as medicine, allow for greater research of marijuana, and end the overly-burdensome, punitive 280E tax code.
