We are very excited to bring back a program that was dormant last year, called Project Connection!👏 It is important to us here at the MODC that we support our nonprofits and the professionals who make all the magic happen. Project Connection will give MODC nonprofit members only access to an application form that they can complete for any type of project where they feel someone from our membership may be able to assist them. We will then reach out to members who may have that specific expertise and see if they would be willing to donate their time and talent. We know that all the nonprofits are in need of ongoing financial support, but in this case an organization’s time and talent could be exactly what the nonprofit needs to increase their funding sources! The application will be rolling and housed on our website, www.modc.com under our Non-Profit Committee Page If you are a nonprofit that is in need of some assistance with a project, please click the link for the application below https://lnkd.in/d6vxDXMy If you are a for-profit organization that would like to share your time and talent to help support a member of our MODC membership family, please follow the link below to complete a questionnaire. https://lnkd.in/d-8vTwjQ

Jim McNamara began his career with the then Lakewood BlueClaws in January 2004, as Group Sales Assistant. Over the last 20 years Jim has been a Group Sales Manager, Director of Group Sales and Vice President of Ticket Sales. Now, as the Vice President of Community Relations & Sales for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and as Executive Director for BlueClaws Charities, he works to keep the BlueClaws connected with the Jersey Shore Community year-round. In addition to that, Jim oversees the fundraising efforts for BlueClaws Charities, which provides financial support to non-profit organizations around the Jersey Shore. Jim is extremely proud of the work he and his co-workers do out in the community to give back to the people and organizations that support the team and help create such a fun and unique energy at the ballpark each summer. “Jimmy Mac” originally from Matawan, has spent his whole 20 year career with the BlueClaws and while there have been several exciting and memorable days and nights at the ballpark, two stand out to him. One, is September 15th, 2006, the night The BlueClaws won their first South Atlantic League Championship and the celebration that followed. The other is July 3, 2018 when Jim and his wife, along with several of their friends and family members in attendance, found out they were having a baby boy with a special fireworks gender reveal before the biggest fireworks show of the year! Jim lives in Keyport with his wife Amy and kids Connolly & Emmie. Let’s congratulate Jim McNamara on his tremendous accomplishments and dedication to Jersey Shore BlueClaws and the Jersey Shore Community!🦀 ⚾ 👏
