It has both a Fund and an Industry Immersion Program, the Moderne Passport, designed to foster innovation, partnership and growth between industry partners and emerging technology companies. Moderne works with more than 1,500 executives and corporations within its core industries and programmatically connects its portfolio to the industry network to help generate growth for the portfolio. Moderne most often looks outside its industries to find technologies that can be applicable within them, and it has invested in over 100 companies, including DocuSign, ICON, Measurabl, Notarize, Caribou, Porch, Homesnap and Xeal.

Yesterday was what I would call a simply wonderful day. I noticed that every part of my journey was met with exceptional customer service. Is this a new thing, I asked myself? It is often the opposite, sadly. Here was my experience: When i checked out of Soho House & Co in LA, the staff greeted me by name and asked me to come back soon. My driver to the airport arrived early . The United Airlines flight was on time and the staff were friendly. Upon checking in to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas I was asked if I would prefer a room closer or farther away from the elevator. I am here for the Blueprint: The Future of Real Estate conference, and I was able to get my badge early. And, the absolute topper was running in to Carolyn Kwon, Brianna Bernhardt and Nicole Weldon from Moderne Ventures who invited me to join them for an amazing dinner. We missed you Constance Freedman!
