The Calhoun, GA Coating Department has achieved an outstanding milestone of 2 years with no recordables! This achievement is a testament to daily safe behaviors and practices in their culture. We are very proud of the team and appreciate everyone's efforts to maintain this outstanding safety culture. 👏

The 2024 Intern Expo was a huge success! Last week, 100+ interns from all areas of the business in Northwest Georgia and beyond presented their projects to colleagues and leaders, and we were impressed! Thank you for all your work this summer, and congratulations on your accomplishments! 😊

Mohawk sponsored the Latin American Association of Northwest Georgia's annual Back to School Bash event this past weekend! 📚 Over 650 students in the Dalton community received backpacks filled with the school supplies they needed to start the new school year.  Thank you to the LAA for hosting this great event and to all of our amazing volunteers for helping serve our Dalton and Murray communities! 🫶

Our Garner, NC, team recently hosted the annual Community of Hope Future Leadership Tour. The Community of Hope is a local organization committed to "eliminating the barriers to success in the home, classroom, and community." Mohawk's Garner facility has partnered with the Community of Hope for several years, and together, they have sponsored annual food pantry donations, donated flooring for their distribution center, and supported their Future Leadership Program. Our Garner team is thankful for all those who contributed to making this year's tour a success!

We’ve recently had a lot of safety milestones and celebrations throughout Mohawk at our different facilities, and we are so proud of each of them. The Product Development team in Calhoun, GA, recently celebrated 31 years accident-free; the C-shift heatset at Phelps Road recently celebrated 15 years with no recordables; the Whitfield Fiber Systems Warehouse team in Eton, GA, recently celebrated 5 years safe with no recordables, and the Air Entanglement team, also in Eton, GA celebrated 1 year safe with no recordables. These milestones are significant accomplishments and could not be completed without each team member's hard work and dedication. 👏

Interning at Mohawk was a major catalyst to my academic and career growth. Working with all aspects of the corporate engineering team led to an abundance of knowledge and connections that allowed me to excel on my projects. The complex tasks that I was given to work on during my internships were instrumental in advancing my problem-solving and technical skills. The opportunities for growth were abundant and the experiences never disappointed.
