Experienced executive at the intersection of technology, finance and innovation. Digital financial inclusion at the Gates Foundation. Board chair and member. Former Chief Architect SWIFTNet. Author. Opinions mine.
The #Mojaloop moment: Expanding financial inclusion 👈💡 Miller Abel, the architect of the open-source #mojaloop software, writes about how, from Rwanda to the Philippines, new instant and inclusive payment platforms powered by #Mojaloop are on the cusp of providing millions with the many benefits of digital payments. Featuring Sharon UMUNYANA of the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) and Vice Catudio of Higala in the Philippines, two amazing passionate and persistent leaders driving financial inclusion in their countries. They are such inspiring role models. As the chair of the Mojaloop Foundation, which hosts the #mojaloop software and community, I’m enthusiastic about the contribution of #mojaloop to many countries’ gender equality and financial inclusion efforts. If you want to to know more, the community is ready for you, reach out!
