Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, Molex, a Koch company, recently completed construction of a massive state-of-the-art facility in Guadalajara, Mexico, with only one lost-time incident and no major injuries. Molex’s application of Koch’s Stewardship Framework — including its commitment to complying with all laws and regulations — has had a lasting influence on the community, local government leaders and the contractors who worked on the project. The project’s main contractor, Grupo Chufani, says it’s applying the lessons learned from Molex about a principled approach to safety and compliance into future contracts with other large corporations.
