Wow. My post yesterday really hit a nerve. In case you missed it, I basically said "thank you" to HR professionals. That's it. I think it's safe to assume that HR is feeling pretty under-appreciated for all they do. Return to office mandates? Imagine being responsible for communicating a policy you didn't decide, create, or even agree with. And then absorbing all the blowback. Got laid off? HR doesn't fire people. Leaders fire people. Next time you feel angry with your HR team....remember they are employees just like you. But because of their title, they just can't complain as much. Now, go hug someone in HR. 💜
