I teach women how to turn their income into lifelong financial independence | Personal Finance Coach & Educator | Employee Financial Wellness
What's better than retiring at 30? Creating a life that you never want to retire from. How do you do that? It's simple, but not easy: ✅ 1 // Get crystal clear on the vision you want for your life. Go deep and get as specific as possible. Journal prompts help. ✅ 2 // Try stuff. Not sure where to start or go next? Pick something—a career, new city, hobby, daily routine, etc. ✅ 3 // Use your findings from the above two to set goals. Do your best to make them specific, but even starting with simply a focus for one quarter is useful. ✅ 4 // Improve your financial situation. Everything else you wish to do becomes a lot easier when you have a solid financial foundation. ✅ 5 // Take action Break your goals down into manageable action items and milestones, and block off recurring time in your calendar to work on them. ✅ 6 // Continue to revisit and reflect, and don't be afraid to make changes. Depending on what season of life you're in, your vision and goals will evolve. Think of these steps as a continuous cycle. Now, this may not happen right away (it took me 6 years). But that time is going to pass anyways. You might as well do whatever you can to design your life according to your dreams. 👋 PS - Step 4 is where a lot of folks get stuck. Don't be afraid to ask for help! What do you think about the concept of creating a life you never want to retire from? #retirement #personalfinance #money #retire
