    MODEX 2024 is in the books — and what a show it was! This year, we went bigger and better than ever before. We unveiled a brand new 2800 SF booth displaying our latest cutting-edge designs for the world of reusable transport packaging. We had a Japan Steel Works America, Inc. machine and FANUC America Corporation robot crafting Monoflo automation containers with In-Mold Labeling (IML) and real-time barcode verification. We hosted a soulful live performance from rising southern rock band and Monoflo family members The Red Clay Strays. And, most importantly, we had a tremendous time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. A big thanks to everyone who joined us during this special week!

    Today, we’re crafting an order of Stack Only 6040-220 Welded Base G1 Automation Containers for one of the largest suppliers of hardware, tools, and industrial materials in the United States. The welded bottoms on these containers are best suited for customers who require a higher load capacity for their products, and the containers’ smooth interior and exterior are ideal for transporting smaller items such as fasteners, electrical components, and fabrication equipment. The totes are manufactured by a pair of all-electric Japan Steel Works America, Inc. injection molding machines and assembled by a cutting-edge Emerson welder using vibration welding. This highly energy-efficient technique creates ultra-precise welds with minimal flash and particulate. Working alongside the JSW and Emerson machines is a FANUC America Corporation robot that our automation team has programmed to pick and place the bottom plate of the welded base, decorate and verify the container’s barcode labels, and then palletize the finished product. With tens of millions of Automation Containers manufactured to date, we continue to invest in the state-of-the-art technology that enables us to craft these totes with industry-leading precision, quality, and energy efficiency.     What a turnout we had last Saturday for the Virginia Farm Fest - Playin' for Layin’, a benefit concert supporting the Central Virginia Poultry Co-Op, an organization dedicated to restoring and revitalizing poultry farming in Virginia! Set in the breathtaking rolling hills of south-central Virginia, the festival showcased a full bill of Virginia's best country and Americana artists: Jake Kohn, Woody Woodworth & The Piners, Cody Christian, Ramona & The Holy Smokes, Brennan Edwards, Lillian Hackett, and many others. We were honored to be the title sponsors for this event, which was established to raise awareness and support for generational family farming while also showcasing Virginia-based country and Americana talent. The 400-acre farm-turned-wedding venue, The Barn At Poor House Farm, hosted 500+ attendees on Saturday. The farm had two complete stages featuring live music and various merch, food, and beverage vendors. Thanks to all of you for coming out and joining us — we are already looking forward to taking it to yet another level next year!

    We were thrilled to partner with KPI Solutions on a 203,000 SF state-of-the-art distribution center for Rogers Sporting Goods, a family-owned, omnichannel retailer of waterfowl, hunting, shooting, and outdoor gear. Rogers Sporting Goods had recently moved into a new facility and, due to growth and SKU proliferation, needed a way to expand capacity within the already limited available floorspace. They wanted to increase efficiency and reduce the time needed to replenish store stock twice per week. They were also looking for more efficient use of labor and faster turnaround time for steadily increasing e-commerce orders. An AutoStore™ system consisting of 51,000 bins — manufactured by Monoflo — was deployed to significantly enhance Rogers Sporting Goods’ e-commerce and retail replenishment capabilities. Since the installation of this automated warehouse: ✅ E-commerce orders are able to be fulfilled within 24 hours ✅ Retail store replenishment orders can now be picked in half the time ✅ Labor productivity and inventory accuracy has dramatically increased To help seamlessly facilitate the induction of the storage bins into the system, KPI Solutions and Rogers Sporting Goods utilized Monoflo Logistics Services (MLS), our full-service logistics support system that offers flexible short-term storage for customers to manage the inflow of reusable packaging to their sites — including the management and execution of container, tray, and bin inductions into AS/RS warehouses.     Take a look at this fully electric, fully automated production cell crafting an order of Distribution Containers for Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States. We have been working closely with the Tennessee-based company for over two decades as they’ve scaled their business to more than 2,100 stores in 49 states. As the distribution market continues to change, Tractor Supply has relied on our automated warehouse experience and expertise to help increase operational efficiency and profitability. In the video above, we’re fulfilling an order of DC 2717-12 Distribution Containers to be utilized in their new automated distribution facility in the Southeast. This warehouse enables the company to increase re-stocking efficiency, lower shipping and fuel costs, and maximize return ratios. Last night, we had a fantastic team meal at the renowned Italian restaurant Carbone.     Today, we are crafting a fresh order of NP 4840-6-IM-W G2 Welded Nestable Pallets for one of North America’s largest grocery retailers. Designed for one of the most demanding applications, downstream grocery retail distribution, our welded nestable pallets deliver exceptional performance with an extended product life. We engineered these pallets with a two-piece welded design — not only around the perimeter of the pallet but also throughout the pallet ribs — providing superior durability for heavier loads while maintaining a low tare weight. Moreover, we equipped these pallets with a patent-pending “Flex Foot” design that bends to deflect forklift impact instead of sheering off, markedly lowering the pallet's replacement frequency.     The overhead crane expansion has commenced at our Stonewall production facility in Winchester, Virginia! We are extending the runway of our state-of-the-art Konecranes, which will enable our skilled Set-Up Technicians to move molds in and out of our machines with ease, significantly enhancing our operational capacity and efficiency. These cranes handle heavy loads with precision — reducing the risk of damage to molds and machinery and keeping our team members safe. Stay tuned for the next step as we continue to transform 30,000 SF of warehouse space into a cutting-edge manufacturing hub. Injection molding machines are coming soon!
