We were thrilled to welcome the talented teams from KA-RaceIng e.V., TUfast Eco Team, Team Schluckspecht Hochschule Offenburg, Rennstall Esslingen, and Dynamics - FH Regensburg e.V. to our EMC lab in Ettenhiem, Germany. The teams dove into a variety of workshops, breakout sessions, product presentations, interviews, team reviews and more. The exchange of knowledge was invaluable, and we are truly impressed by the creativity, dedication, and innovative spirit of these teams. And of course, it wasn’t all work – after an intense schedule, we headed to the go-kart track for some high-speed fun! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made these two days so exciting and memorable. It’s amazing to see the potential in the next generation of engineers. We’re already looking forward to the next event with you and to continue supporting you in the future! #semiconductors #electricalengineering #electronics #powerelectronics #FormulaStudent #Innovation #EngineeringFuture #Teamwork #EMCWorkshop #RacingPassion #MPS #

In modern technology, the #flyback #converter is one of the most widely used topologies for domestic and #industrial applications that require an auxiliary #powersupply. Because flyback topology is so popular, designers often attempt to create a unified, single design for an ultra-wide input #voltage (VIN) range. This type of design allows flybacks to be used to their maximum functionality while avoiding long-term validation issues. This article will describe how to design an ultra-wide input voltage range flyback using the MP023, a primary-side regulation (PSR) controller for low-power applications that provides an accurate constant voltage and constant current. The MP023 will be used for the practical example, and this article will provide the results of a 15W/5V flyback that accepts AC and DC voltages while operating across a wide input voltage range. #powerelectronics Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
