We’re excited to share that efforts to bring broadband access to the Big Sur community are paying off! This progress is a direct result of MBEP’s Community Roundtables, specifically the one in Big Sur, where we connected key stakeholders, including Panetta’s office, CABS, and our member ISPs, to assess the infrastructure needs of this underserved area. Since then, we’ve held continuous conversations with community leaders, pushing this collaborative effort toward a solution. Bringing reliable internet to Big Sur is no easy task due to its rugged terrain, but we’re making strides! MBEP is proud to co-host these crucial discussions and to be part of the ongoing work to improve connectivity for all.
