Over the past year, we've collaborated with Ophelia Matthias of Solent NHS Trust on this amazing project. We held a SLAM poetry event where members of Moriah Family Support group shared their hopes for better support for their children and families through powerful performance poetry. Our live audience, including staff from Solent NHS Trust’s Child & Family service, witnessed these heartfelt expressions. Experience the highlights by visiting our YouTube channel, Moriah Family Support Group, and join us in celebrating this impactful journey. https://lnkd.in/eXx5R6Dk

We had a fantastic time at our coffee morning on Monday! Big thanks to all who joined us. We discussed insights from Heidi Mavir's book "YOUR CHILD IS NOT BROKEN" and had a great chat about life and supporting our children. Due to the Easter Holidays, there won't be a coffee morning in April. Look out for updates on our next gathering in May!

One of the good things that came out of the SLAM poetry events we held recently is that we're working on making a culturally appropriate toolkit for the NHS. This toolkit will be helpful for NHS workers, social workers, and allies Yesterday, we took steps to make this toolkit happen. We recorded a short animated film with Lyndon and Debbie from @drop_the_mask_productions. It was fun creating the animated characters too. We can't wait show you what we've made. A big thank you to Ophelia Matthias from @solentnhs_trust for facilitating and supporting us along the way.
