Please meet Paige Chastain, Group Specialist and Drug & Alcohol Counselor!! With nearly 11 years of experience in substance use disorder therapy and group facilitation, coupled with a personal journey of 12 years of continuous sobriety, I deeply understand the connections between mental health and substance use. I facilitate group therapy sessions using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic approaches. Additionally, I facilitate a weekly Young People's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, providing specialized support to young individuals at all facilities who are dealing with substance use disorders. I also integrate health and fitness groups, recognizing the crucial role of physical wellness in mental health recovery. This holistic approach helps build resilience and equips clients with practical tools for managing their recovery. Outside of work, I express my creativity through painting, drawing, and baking, creating inspirational artwork on various mediums and using baking as a form of relaxation and therapy.
