🚀 Member of our R-GRID TEAM: Agnieszka Wójcik-Lewicka Tomasz Michalak, and Andrzej Nagórko have participated in the Global Critical Infrastructure Workshop hosted by the incredible MORS! 🌍 🔒This workshop spotlighted infrastructure security beyond the U.S., encouraging the participation of global partners from the U.S. and Allied Nations. Key takeaways: 🌐 The stability and resilience of critical infrastructure—from physical bases to digital networks—are essential for global defense. ⚠️ Recent threats to both physical and cyber infrastructure underscore the vulnerability and impact on military operations and global security. 💬 Engaging round-table discussions in 3 specialized focus groups addressed challenges around infrastructure creation, modernization, protection, and disruptive recovery (from both attacks and environmental impacts). We also had the opportunity to share the R-GRID simulator prototype and discuss our forward-looking R&D goals in one-on-one meetings! 🌟 Thanks to all the participants and partners for an insightful exchange on bolstering the infrastructure that underpins global security. Looking forward to the next steps in fostering a safer, more resilient global community. 🤝 #GlobalSecurity #InfrastructureProtection #RGRID #InnovationInDefense #Resilience

Last week I completed the MORS wargaming certificate course. As a self-taught wargame designer for my graduate work at University of Colorado Boulder, it was incredibly helpful to get to learn more formally about game design from some of the wargaming greats. And we got to engage in some fantastic conversations about gaming in the space domain as well! It was great timing with my first external playtest of my own first wargame last week. Looking forward to making lots of edits and continuing to sharpen my design skills.

Our recent workshop in Germany brought together experts and allied partners to tackle one of the most pressing global security issues—critical infrastructure resilience. From physical bases to cyber communications, secure and reliable infrastructure is essential to both military and civilian operations. Together, we explored strategies for development, threat mitigation, and adaptive resilience in the face of climate impacts, cyber threats, and geopolitical tensions. Thank you to all who contributed!
