  • Access to trauma-informed mental health services is critical to helping survivors overcome trauma and increase their emotional health and well-being. When survivors feel emotionally safe, they can begin to process their experiences, unresolved losses, and painful memories, and overcome self-defeating beliefs and behaviors. In 2023, survivors received 3,056 hours of counseling through Mosaic's counseling program. This includes individual and group therapy, as well as specialized play and art therapy for children.

  • For survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, legal representation is essential to ensuring their rights are protected and their voice is heard. This is especially true for immigrant survivors, who need a compassionate and skilled attorney to help them stay in the United States and seek justice. In 2023, 92% of survivors who received legal representation from Mosaic achieved positive legal outcomes. Mosaic's legal program is unique in North Texas, offering both family and immigration law representation to meet the needs of immigrant survivors. You can help survivors find justice by making your #NTxGivingDay gift today! https://lnkd.in/dk6WPtgs
