While we all celebrate a restful Labor Day weekend, we want to bring attention to International Overdose Awareness Day. This global campaign is dedicated to renewing our commitment to ending overdose and remembering the lives lost due to overdose without stigma. The theme for 2024 is “Together We Can,” which highlights the power of coming together as a community to help stop overdose. For more information about overdose, including an Overdose Prevention and Response Toolkit, you can visit SAMHSA.gov. SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) is the agency within the US Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation.
