Congratulations to Evan Dash on the incredible success of his book, A Dash of Good! We are thrilled to see Motivational mentioned as a key partner in Dash’s journey. One particularly impactful anecdote from the book was when Evan recounted his early 2020 experience: It was January 2020, and the world was beginning to grapple with the uncertainty of COVID-19. Evan’s background as a firefighter taught him to always be prepared, including for any worst-case scenarios, so he applied this same strategy to his business. As part of his contingency planning for Dash, he needed to make sure his 3PL was also preparing for whatever lied ahead. Hear about it in Evan’s own words from A Dash of Good: "We contacted our warehouse in California to learn what contingency plans they had in place. We could have the best laid plans at our headquarters in New York, but business would grind to a halt if our warehouse couldn't ensure continuity. The complexity of running a distribution center and relying on a labor force working in close quarters was the most daunting challenge ahead of us. When choosing a warehouse ten years prior, we had narrowed our choice to three. Then we did the opposite of what most companies would have done – we selected the most expensive, Motivational Fulfillment and Logistics Services.
