Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital held a Tree of Life Dedication ceremony to honor their organ, eye and tissue donors from the past four years. Donor family members were invited to place leaves, engraved with their loved ones' names, on a metal wall hanging designed to look like a tree as a digital video tribute scrolled featuring photos of the donors.   Lifeline of Ohio CEO, Andrew S. Mullins, MBA, FACHE, spoke at the event, sharing gratitude for the generosity of the donors and their families. Many thanks to Mount Carmel St. Ann's President Diane Doucette, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Office Don LaFollette and Critical Care Director Bud Dixon - and all the hospital staff members - for honoring donors, supporting families and making this deeply meaningful event so special.

  • We want to congratulate Dr. Tice and the Echocardiography team for this milestone award for being accredited by the IAC for 25 years! Implementation of quality improvement processes guided by IAC principles has been instrumental in the creation of a comprehensive Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging program including a robust Structural Heart Program at Mount Carmel. This recognition would not be possible without the efforts of previous technical director, Mickey Ryan (not pictured). Thank you Mickey, Dr. Tice, all the noninvasive Cardiologists and Echo techs. Proud of our Mount Carmel Specialized Echo Team!
