Sometimes, you will hear the question, “Have you outgrown QuickBooks?” But what does that actually mean? And what exactly are you outgrowing? At MEC, we find that often means they've evolved beyond what's being offered by QuickBooks' existing: 🔹 User interface 🔹 Reporting 🔹 Lack of Integration with Office 🔹 Lack of personalization 🔹 And more Read our blog to learn all the things frustrated users need QuickBooks to do, or simply wish QuickBooks could do. (Hint: a lot of those things are made possible and easy, with Business Central!) https://buff.ly/3ywmKSy

“How do you vet an ISV solution?” At Mount Evans Consulting, we always start with two questions — and unsurprisingly, the end user experience is our priority. If you're cutting down a shortlist of ISVs to partner with your business, we recommend asking: 1. How easy is it to use? 2. What does the user interface look like? 🚧 If the experience for a customer isn't intuitive and simple, adoption of the solution will be slow, and frustration will be the norm. 📺 If the UI looks like the platform was built in the '90s and hasn't been refreshed since, trust in the tool is low. 🧩 Our tip? When you think about Business Central and the modern interface, it's something that's appealing and familiar to many users. It looks like, and interacts with, the tools they use every day: like Outlook, Word and Excel. (When you are evaluating an ISV solution for Business Central, that sense of familiarity is a great place to start. And it'll help you make the most of any ISV solution you choose.)

🧐 How well do you understand the power of Copilot? Whether you've already embraced the AI assistant, or you're looking to get started and just don't know where to begin, we can help! First things first: what is it? Microsoft Copilot is a powerful AI assistant that can help you with tasks and workflows across different Microsoft applications. It can understand your intent, provide suggestions, generate content, and automate processes based on your needs and preferences. 🔔 Why is everyone using (and talking about) it? Copilot is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but a personalized and adaptable assistant that can learn from your feedback and behavior. For small and mid-sized business owners, that can mean an easier way to do things like write proposals, create presentations, manage projects, communicate with customers, and more. Copilot can help you save time, improve quality, and increase productivity by assisting you with your most time-consuming tasks and workflows. Check out our latest blog (in the comments below 👇🏼) for examples of how Copilot can help you across Microsoft applications, from Word and Teams to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
