WellCAD 5.8 expands the visualization capabilities with newly added chart objects and an improved 3D log display. As a powerful visualization tool, pie charts are introduced as a new diagram type within the Chart log functionality and as a Header Chart object. They can be used to illustrate the percentages of parts and categories in relation to a borehole, such as lithology or structure type distributions.

Logic Geophysics is expanding our offering of downhole services to include magnetic susceptibility, resistivity, and induction in addition to work we already do such as gamma logging and downhole seismic (shear-wave profiling, crosshole, PS logging). I spent the day today training with Mount Sopris Instrument Co. on additional tools - what a great setup they have so we could mostly stand inside the air conditioning while working rather than in the 98F (!!) heat.
