It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with the newest Launch Lab X cohort at the Harvard Innovation Labs! I shared some of Moxie Scrubs’ growing pains and that despite how tough things might be as an entrepreneur, my worst day is better than my best day building someone else’s dream. And for me, the most rewarding part of the journey has been being on the journey, and the doors that continue to open, the rooms I’ve been able to enter—opportunities that a little girl from Queens from an immigrant family could never have imagined possible. And just as we were wrapping up, in walks Matt Higgins - one of my idols and a Queens native like myself! Someone who’s career I’ve followed closely for sometime. From an entrepreneur to an investor, and former Shark on Shark Tank ABC, Matt is proof that our backgrounds don’t define our futures. Anything is possible. You can do it.
