Moya eVTOL Flight Concept: Efficiency and Innovation in Every Phase. At Moya Aero, we have developed an innovative flight concept that offers a range of benefits, enhancing both performance and sustainability of our eVTOL. The approach reduces the complexity and optimize energy consumption, while maximizing payload capacity. Key Features of Our Flight Concept: • Reduced Drag: By optimizing the design of the fuselage and wing positioning we minimize drag, improving overall aerodynamic performance. • No Tilt Mechanisms: Unlike conventional designs that rely on tilting motors, which introduce moving parts requiring extensive maintenance, our system uses differential thrust. This simplifies operations and lowers maintenance costs. • Optimize energy: We use the same rotors for both takeoff and horizontal flight, unlike traditional eVTOLs that may require different set of rotors for each phase of the flight. This streamlined design reduces energy consumption and increases efficiency. • Maximized Payload Capacity: By not carrying non-lifting rotors during flight, we ensure that every component actively contributes to the aircraft’s performance. This approach reduces energy waste and allows us to allocate more capacity in the cargo bay, making our eVTOL a more versatile and cost-effective solution. Swipe through our carousel to see a detailed breakdown of each flight phase and learn how our concept is reshaping the future of urban air mobility. Through these innovations, Moya Aero is redefining what is possible in electric vertical takeoff and landing technology, paving the way for more efficient, reliable, and sustainable urban air mobility. #evtol #uav #cargodrone #logistics #sustainablefuture #ingenuity

The FAA has taken an essential step in regulating the future of air travel. We are actively monitoring these changes and are involved in developing a new aviation era. As OEMs, we share our expertise in various discussions in different parts of the world. The future is just around the corner, and we are ready to contribute. #evtol #uav #cargodrone #sustainablefuture #logistics #ingenuity

The FAA is ready for air taxis, cargo delivery and a variety of operations within urban and rural areas, which will be the first completely new category of civil aircraft since helicopters were introduced in the 1940s. The agency issued a final rule for the qualifications and training that instructors and pilots must have to fly aircraft in this “powered-lift” category, which have characteristics of both airplanes and helicopters. The rule is the final piece in the puzzle for safely introducing these aircraft into the national airspace system in the near term. Learn more at https://bit.ly/4dVYRT2.

This week at Move America in Austin, Texas, I had the opportunity to present on the evolving landscape of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and the exciting developments within the eVTOL space. We explored the current maturity level of eVTOL technologies and how the broader ecosystem is being organized, from airport infrastructure and vertiports to air traffic control, certification, and market acceptance. I also addressed the biggest challenges for certification, including the technological maturity of electrification and the complexities of energy sources like batteries, fuel cells, and hybrid systems. We delved into a comparison of eVTOL efficiency with other aerial platforms, and discussed the emerging energy challenges, such as fuel cells and hybrid systems. Another critical topic was the impact of autonomous drones, highlighting how eVTOL technologies can be applied across various sectors, including cargo transportation, rescue operations, humanitarian aid, firefighting, and passenger transport. Looking ahead, we discussed the market expectations for eVTOLs and drones in the coming years and the role of government incentives and investments in driving innovation in this space. Lastly, I had the chance to comment on Moya's unique configuration, showcasing our innovative approach within the industry. A special thanks to Nicolas Zart for moderating our panel and to Clifford Cruz, Hamid Hamidi, and Matthew Chasen for contributing to the insightful aviation sessions.

Understanding the Evolution of Urban Air Mobility: A Roadmap for Scaling eVTOL Markets As the excitement around Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft continues to grow, some questions come to light about the future of this transformative technology. One of the most crucial points is how will the EVTOL market scale. We need to understand the gradual progression of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations, as outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration, EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency, ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. This roadmap outlines six distinct levels of maturity, each representing a significant step forward in UAM development. Here are my key takeaways: (a)    Phased Approach: UAM will start with limited operations in controlled environments, gradually expanding to high-density, complex networks. (b)    Technological Advancements: As UAM evolves, so will the technology, from basic automation to highly integrated networks capable of managing thousands of flights, just to name few. (c)    Regulatory Changes: Regulatory frameworks will need to adapt to accommodate UAM, addressing issues like airspace management, noise regulations, and pilot certification. Why is this roadmap important? It offers a clear vision of UAM's future, allowing us to anticipate both the challenges and opportunities ahead. For those focused on eVTOL cargo applications, this roadmap underscores the importance of a phased, methodical approach to successful scaling. As UAM matures—from initial testing and localized deployment to widespread, autonomous urban operations—cargo transport will be a vital component of this journey. By prioritizing cargo, we unlock the sector’s potential and accelerate progress through these crucial stages of UAM maturity, laying the groundwork for broader adoption in the future. If you're part of the eVTOL or UAM sectors, this roadmap offers valuable insights to guide your strategies. Whether you're a developer, investor, or policymaker, understanding these maturity levels can help you navigate this rapidly evolving market. I’m keen to hear your thoughts—let's explore how we can collaborate and position our businesses for success as UAM takes flight. Alexandre Zaramela CEO Moya Aero.
