It was a true privilege to join a room full of fellow creatives at the "Fighting to Live the Dream" Demirebel event, part of Nashville Design Week, held at the Frist Art Museum last night. I had the chance to exchange thoughts on craft, people, process, and artistry alongside an inspiring panel that included Melaneice Gibbs, Deandre Jackson, Kim Pusey, and Briana Hawkins, MA. Our conversation touched on the power of building a supportive, creative community, overcoming imposter syndrome, expanding access to opportunities and education, and the vital role of rest in renewing the creative spirit.
