MSEI has two main divisions, Operations and System Design & Development. With over 400 technical staff including physicists, electrical, software, biomedical and materials engineers, MSEI employs an elite team of the brightest minds in the medical technology industry. The Operations division is a specialist in medical microelectronics manufacturing including development, design, testing, supply chain and system integration for medical technology, in particular for active implants in the area of CRM (cardiac rhythm management) and other medical applications. The Operations division is dedicated to the innovative design and quality construction of electronic modules used in implantable medical devices. System Design & Development is the innovation center for next generation class III active implants. This includes full system design, clinical research, hardware and software, as well as the design and test of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). The resulting products deliver life-saving therapies to patients accurately and reliably across the globe.
