  • Building a virtual world on an existing platform might seem like the obvious option, but it often comes with limitations. Control, creativity, and ownership are never truly yours. At MSquared, we provide the building blocks to help you create and connect your own virtual experiences, putting you in full control of your audience, data, and interactions. Why settle for a walled garden when you can build a virtual world that truly reflects your brand’s vision ? https://lnkd.in/ef865WQt

  • After an incredible 30-month collaboration, the MAX-R project is due to conclude at the end of March—co-funded by Horizon Europe and Innovate UK (Grant ID: 101070072). One of our proudest moments was bringing the BBC Philharmonic’s concert to life in a virtual world.Through MSquared’s work in the project, we transformed a world-class orchestra performance into an immersive digital experience, bridging the gap between music and technology. A massive thank you to all our partners, collaborators, and the brilliant minds who made this possible. Watch some highlights from this unforgettable event below.

  • 🚀 The future of virtual worlds is here – and it’s OPEN. The future of virtual worlds cannot be another closed ecosystem – it needs to be an extension of the internet itself. But until now, you had two choices when building a virtual world. 1) A walled garden, which makes building easy but denies you true ownership. 2) Starting from scratch, which is expensive and risky! And both options left your virtual experience in a silo. MSquared is changing all that. We’re now operating as a fully independent entity, dedicated to making it easy and cost-effective to build your own virtual worlds – and breaking down the barriers between them. Here’s what that means for you: ✅ Full control: Own your world. Set your rules. Integrate with your systems. ✅ Interoperability: Users, assets, and economies can move freely on MSquared. ✅ Proven scale: Thousands of concurrent users, who can interact in the same space. • 🎮 What if jumping into a game was as easy as watching a Twitch stream? Jitter didn’t want a game that just worked with Twitch. It needed a virtual world that lived on it. MSquared made that happen: ✅ Seamless Twitch integration – one click and you were in. ✅ 2,400+ concurrent players at its biggest event to date. ✅ Fans engaging with streamers, not just watching them. Gaming is evolving. Jitter is leading the charge. But thanks to MSquared, this isn’t just a vision – it’s reality. #Gaming #Streaming #Twitch

  • The first motion-captured conductor in the metaverse. This was no mere ‘nice to have’ for the BBC’s Sound of Gaming event, which combined a live BBC Philarmonic performance with a virtual world. It was a digital requirement MSquared had to fulfill for the physical concert to go ahead. And we delivered. On the day, trailblazer Eimear Noone simultaneously graced a real-world stage and a virtual one, furthering her creative explorations in classical music, game soundtrack composition and women in tech, while the BBC proved its vision of how live performances could be reimagined within immersive, engaging virtual worlds.
