Yesterday afternoon, a couple of our patients were able to go on an outing to the American Visionary Art Museum. Neither patient had been to an art museum before, and they had a good time exploring the unique exhibits! They also had a chance to practice navigating uneven sidewalks, finding elevators in the building, and getting through narrow doorways. It was a great visit!

Washington Pediatric Hospital’s team of lactation specialists comprised of two speech language pathologists and an occupational therapist is here to serve you! We are available and ready to help with questions and concerns related to breastfeeding and pumping, including establishing and maintaining a milk supply, proper latching, and transitioning to bottle feeding.
