We talk about the Bible and its transformative power quite a bit here. It’s only appropriate then to ask what it has to say about the election. Not surprisingly, it's not an endorsement of a specific candidate, but a countercultural call to action: To love God (whose authority and power outlasts worldly leaders) and to love each other as ourselves. https://lnkd.in/g_pKnnv9

Congratulations to our 2024 Pillar Awards recipients for their work using their talents, ideas, and platforms to inspire action. These individuals were honored at Museum of the Bible’s 2024 Gala and Experience for their outstanding work. Dr. Carlos Campo, CEO of Museum of the Bible, remarked, “The personal and public achievements and testimonies of this year’s honorees demonstrate the profound influence of the Bible that undeniably changes lives, culture, and history.” The Pillar Awards (based on the museum’s three pillars of History, Narrative, and Impact) honor individuals and groups who are utilizing these core components to help people engage with the Bible worldwide. 🏆 The Pillar Award for History was awarded to Joni Eareckson Tada. Tada has transformed the way people with disabilities are given biblical hope, encouragement, and life purpose. 🏆 The Pillar Award for Narrative was awarded to Dr. David Jeremiah, who has reached millions through radio, television, books, and digital media. 🏆 The Pillar Award for Impact was awarded to Tony Dungy, who used his sports platform to boldly share his faith and biblical values. Thank you, Joni, Dr. Jeremiah, and Tony, for your work to help advance access to the Bible.
