A symphony violinist in desperate need of a liver transplant was told that because she was uninsured, she was not transplant eligible. Hopeless, she was sent home from the hospital to prepare for end-of-life care. Thanks to fierce advocacy and support from Music Health Alliance, she received a successful liver transplant, is fully insured with $0 in medical debt, and is back to performing full-time. If you’ve worked in the music industry for three or more years and are experiencing a healthcare crisis, you may request assistance at https://ow.ly/sumZ50QyrIK. #MusicHealthAlliance #HealTheMusic #LiverTransplant #ClientChronicles
