This weekend, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our Regent Meals program at Regent Park, marking 11 years of serving Thanksgiving meals—bringing joy, warmth, and connection to the heart of our community. Since 2014, 117,000 meals have been served, and by the end of 2024, we will reach a total of 154,000 meals shared with the community, including 37,000 meals served this year alone. Food is a basic right 🍲 But today, 7 million Canadians face that struggle. Seniors, families, and children—hunger can strike anyone. At Muslim Welfare Canada, we’ve served over 930,000 meals. 🍽 With your support, we can continue feeding those in need. Here’s how you can help: 🏫 $30: Provide healthy meals for children to stay nourished and focused. 🍛 $40: Support weekly meals for the Malvern community. 🥘 $50: Provide a week's worth of groceries for a family in need. 👴 $60: Deliver nutritious meals to seniors with regular check-ins. 🚌 $75: Deliver meals to those unable to cook for themselves. 🥡 $100: Deliver essential food to remote Arctic communities. 🍎 $3,000: Feed 500 people, including 100 seniors; each meal costs $6.
