  • In celebration of Women's History Month, 250+ employees joined our Women in Leadership (WIL) Employee Resource Group for an event featuring author Kathryn Sollmann and four Mutual of Omaha leaders. Kathryn, the author of The 4 Jobs Club, shared practical advice for women balancing multiple roles across work, family, and personal fulfillment. Liz Mazzotta, Mutual’s Chief Administrative Officer, is one of fifty executives from across the country featured in Kathryn’s book.  The panel discussion, moderated by WIL President Amy Powers, included Jana Egan, CIR (HR Consultant), Tim Sasek (Director of HR), and Courtney Vaughn, MA (Risk Consultant). Panelists explored the challenges working women face by juggling kids, aging parents, home and career.  By sharing their lived experiences and tips, attendees learned about the importance of self-advocacy, flexibility, allyship, and asking for help from others.  All panelists credited Mutual’s commitment to flexibility as a critical source of support that can help any associate achieve healthy work-life balance.    This panel is one of several initiatives WIL has organized to celebrate Women’s History Month and support associates in their personal and professional growth.
