A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the Midwest Acquirers Association show in Chicago and participate in their AI and Big Data panel. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Jeff Shea, Jeffrey Sanders, and Genevieve Dozier, where we discussed revenue-generating examples and AI use cases in payments. Some of the topics we covered included faster merchant onboarding, KYC and risk management, proactive merchant retention, and hyper-personalization. Everyone in the room agreed that AI is no longer a nice-to-have but a real differentiator in an already competitive and low-margin industry like payments. Plus, there's something really special about discussing the future of payments and going for a run alongside the lake on the same day! Thank you again to the Midwest Acquirers Association team for the opportunity and for putting together another amazing show!
