Our thoughts continue to go out to all those impacted by the recent hurricanes, especially in North Carolina. While some permanent infrastructure repairs remain, we are proud to share that as of October 19th all Aqua customers are back in full water service. “While visiting North Carolina immediately following the storm, I had the chance to tour the widespread devastation – the loss of life and property is almost unfathomable. But I was also struck by the amazing response from North Carolinians, and highly impressed with our operations crews, who jumped into action and rallied to the communities most in need of a helping hand…I can speak for our entire Aqua family when I say we stand with North Carolina and will continue to respond – and rebuild – after Helene.” – Colleen M. Arnold, Aqua President Thank you to all employees who responded to this natural disaster.

At Aqua, we are committed to being dedicated stewards of the natural lands in the communities we serve. On today’s anniversary of the Clean Water Act, we are proud to spotlight Aqua Indiana’s partnership with the Little River Wetlands Project, Inc. to protect Eagle Marsh, a vital ecosystem in Fort Wayne that is home to countless wildlife species. Our wastewater treatment processes are crucial to protecting local waterways like Eagle Marsh by removing pollutants and ensuring clean water is returned to nature. Together, we’re safeguarding our environment for generations to come. Watch the video below to learn more about this partnership. #EnvironmentalStewardship #Partnership #CommunityImpact #Wastewater
As a leading water and wastewater provider, Aqua Indiana is committed to investing in and improving the communities we serve. Today, as we celebrate the anniversary of the Clean Water Act, we’re reminded of the vital role wastewater treatment plays in protecting our local waterways. Our state-of-the-art facilities and advanced treatment processes are designed to remove pollutants from wastewater, ensuring that the water we release back into nature is cleaner than we found it. This commitment is evident in our partnership with the Little River Wetlands Project, where our efforts are helping to preserve the natural wonder of Eagle Marsh. At Aqua, our mission is to protect and provide Earth’s most essential resource. That includes protecting customers drinking water from contaminants such as lead. Yesterday, Aqua PA President Marc Lucca, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Adam Ortiz, selected leaders, state officials, and neighbors gathered in West Chester to discuss the critical importance of identifying and removing lead and galvanized service lines. Those in attendance also watched a live demonstration of a lead service line replacement, showcasing the work being done to ensure safe water for our communities. Thank you to the Chamber for inviting our Chairman and CEO to introduce Chef Jose Garces at the recent The Main Line Chamber of Commerce Inspirational Breakfast! We were proud to be Presenting Sponsors for this event.
It was an honor to introduce the keynote speaker Chef Jose Garces at the recent The Main Line Chamber of Commerce Inspirational Breakfast at the Valley Forge Military Academy & College. While I might not share his talent in the kitchen, myself and my colleagues at Essential Utilities, Inc. certainly share Chef Garces’ desire to address #FoodInsecurity in our region. With our Fall for Food Banks initiative, our Aqua, Peoples Natural Gas, and Delta employees strive to fight hunger by partnering with local food banks through charitable donations, food collections, and #volunteer events. Thank you to the Main Line Chamber for hosting, and to Chef and his team for a delicious breakfast! Photo credit: Pictures By Todd and Cassidy Dabrow
