What if mental healthcare could be as unique as we are? How do we design solutions that truly empower users, and ensure vulnerable populations get the care they deserve? Grateful to the Netherlands Innovation Network in Boston for inviting us as subject matter experts on equity in women’s healthcare. During this design challenge, we shared how data-driven solutions can empower healthcare and build culturally competent, equitable systems. i
➡️ Massachusetts and the Netherlands share a common challenge: driving innovative solutions for women's health forward. 🌎 Innovators in both ecosystems are amongst the best in the world, working diligently to find these solutions and taking the lead in using innovative technologies to push us into a healthier, more equitable future. This is why we are thrilled to be hosting the Women's Health Design Challenge, facilitated by the wonderful Max Reice and Benjamin Mitchell of MMID! ⚕️ After three days at the Women's Health Innovation Summit, Dutch innovators are joined by their American counterparts at Bayer Co.Lab in the most innovative square mile in the world: Kendall Square! Over the next 1.5 days, Dutch and American innovators will put their brains together to work on some of the most daunting challenges in women's health and create lasting connections in R&D and beyond. 🚀 How can we provide more personalized and localized care for women? 🚀 How can we improve equity for women in the healthcare system? 🚀 How can we provide more comprehensive support for women's reproductive health? There are big challenges and we are so inspired by these innovators who are working together to apply their unique skills and expertise to drive women's health forward so that the future will be healthier for everyone. Meet the innovators ⬇️ Joyce Knappe | Peg Fradette | Karel van Eijkeren | Marco De Boer (Ph.D., MBA) | Kaylyn Billmeyer, PharmD | Jay Hoying | Diana Torgersen | Carlo Alberto Paggi, PhD | Petra Verdonk | Krzysztof (Kris) Wojciechowski | Nita Akoh | Linde Dekker | Arianne van Koppen | Umbereen S.
