🎨✨ Celebrating Black Art and Community! The Hill CDC was excited to host conference attendees at the Nafasi Art Gallery on Centre Avenue last Thursday. We welcomed guests for an evening filled with incredible Black art and engaging discussions about its role in our community’s redevelopment. Nafasi resident artists shared their stories and offered their work for sale to those interested. AfroRiche, a beautifully handcrafted and painted piano, was the star of the night! Additionally, the evening featured a slideshow on the Hill District Digital History Project, highlighting key sites that attendees could explore during their neighborhood tours. The history project was presented at a session during the ASALH conference earlier that day. Thank you to all who attended!
